Working on the Torque tube and control assembly

So, we moved the the work bench out to the airport and now we have all of our stuff their now.

 We are welding the aileron control T to the control tube.

Magnetically mounting in place for welding.

Tabs under the T to keep the magnets from miss-alignment of the T.

Welds came out good 

Working on the second control tube  

 Ends of both tubes

  Both tubes laid out, Notice the metal sheet, its used for keeping the wood from catching fire when welding and we use it to mount magnets to secure pieces we are welding.

 Setting up tabs to be welded, and are held in place with magnets.

Same thing but up higher, getting late so we stopped working and put things away.
